Paper - all

Almost as important as the pens is the paper you work on. For lettering, the paper should be as smooth as possible so that the fine brush tip is not affected. For Watercolour, thicker, rougher paper is better.

With the Ecoline Lettering/Watercolour paper we have an absolute all-rounder in our store. It is nice and smooth for letterings with bledings and at the same time thick and robust enough for small works with the brush.

However, as soon as it becomes too wet, for example, for wet-on-wet techniques, we recommend thicker paper such as the Van Gogh Frau Hölle paper or the market standard from Hahmemühle.
